A capacity-building program designed to foster independence and personal growth; our Life Skills Program operates during school terms from 9 AM to 3 PM. Each day is tailored to specific areas of development:
Life and personal skills development, including bus training and community engagement. Also, preparing and cooking easy to make healthy meal and snack options.
Well-being Wednesdays, prioritising mental health, fitness, and mindfulness. Also, including arts, crafts and creative expression.
Fun/Free Choice Fridays, allowing participants to explore activities of their choice in a supportive setting.
Willing to Care offers structured, inclusive activities during the school holidays between 10am and 2pm. The activities aim to promote development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and independence. The programs are designed to be fun and engaging while also accessible and adaptable catering to various learning styles, mobility levels and sensory preferences.
Willing to Care can provide temporary care for participants in a safe and welcoming environment. Respite is tailored to the participants individual needs and allows them to try new activities, develop new skills and participate in social activities.
Willing to Care also offers small group activities to participants. These activities may include going out for dinner, attending sporting events, attending creative activities such as art or music classes etc. The activities aim to enhance social connections, skill development and enjoyment.
